MUSTA AGENGY

Musta Agency is the world’s first international illustration agency for tattoo artists and was founded in Helsinki, Finland back in 2020. It elevates tattoo artists from the skin and helps introduce them to bands, brands, labels and agencies.

	MONIKA BOO: Born and raised in the woodlands of Lithuania, Boo became very inspired by natural and organic styles and objects. This appreciation was only grown while studying architecture prior to becoming a tattoo artist. Her background created a unique style beyond both static and dynamic compositions, where all mediums from her experiences meet — natural objects, art nouveau, gothic, baroque silhouettes and more.

	TUOMAS VALTANEN: Helsinki-based illustrator, graphic designer, photographer and tattoo artist Tuomas Valtanen is extremely inspired by art nouveau aesthetics, the thick linework of comics and occult themes. Growing up listening to heavy metal music and being fascinated by album artwork, today he not only creates band logos but also designs t-shirt illustrations for musicians within Finland such as Amorphis, Swallow the Sun and Battle Beast, but also internationally well-known artists like Myrkur, Misery Index and Anneke van Giersbe.

	CANDY: Candy’s fascination with the art of tattooing began in her teenage years and she’s been working as an artist since 2013. Together with her partner, four years ago they opened a private tattoo studio called ink.fluence. In addition, she’s been traveling extensively for a few years, visiting shops all over Europe. Candy’s work is characterized by intense, colorful gradients, often with a feminine theme and attention to detail.
