Thin King Heritage - Curly Birch

A UNIQUELY PATTERNED AND RARE HARDWOOD FROM THE FORESTS OF LAPLAND

The curly birch is a native Finnish hardwood prized for its beautifully patterned grain, which gives each cut of the tree its own distinct look reminiscent of marble.

Held in your hands, the wood revealsits ultrafine texture and satiny sheen, adding a warm and elegant touch to its unique appearance.

Since not all curly birches display these grain patterns, and even then not before an age of 4 or 5 years, the wood we use is extremely rare and each piece is guaranteed to be unlike any other.

All of our wood is sustainably harvested in Lapland, and eachindividual piece is carefully chosen, cut, oiled, and finished by hand.
